On Farting (by Mike Nario)

I've been farting all day
And for that I'm gonna pay
With lots of gas in my tummy
For sure I'll fart like crazy

It's not just laughing
That gets me farting
Also the cold weather
Would cause such a bother

You probably wanna ask me
Why I talk about farts so freely
I can fart real loud
And whatever you say, I'm proud

Everybody passes gas
Its as common as a dog's polgas
Farting is normal
And i'm a Farty animal

So come on, let's fart!
Let's do this like its art
Come on and give it your all
So when i smell it, it'll make me fall

Then again, come to think of it
That's gas on my face to your puwit
Ok pare, I take it back
Oo nga, I agree, it is yak!

Best man's toast for Clark's wedding

The first time I met Clark was 8 or 9yrs ago ata gig in Santolan. I never thought I'd be the best man in is wedding.. Kasi I didn't like him then, but that's a different story..

First off, i would like to thank the parents of the bride and groom for creating shuch beautiful people.. Beautiful, inside-out.. To Lavonne's mom, tita sonia, though i havnt really got the chance to know you, i can tell that you have a very generous and kind heart.. Manang mana po sainyo si lavon.. Tito bert and tita epi, thank you po sa mga gabing kinukupkop nyo kaming magkakaibigan dahil masyado nang late umuwi..

Rule number 1 pagka nakikitulog ka kela clark.. Wag gagalawin ang mga muebles! Memorize ni tita epi yung position nyan.

Rule number 2! Never leave your facebook, yahoo messenger or twitter online.. Its either you end up gay on the internet or scheduled for a date with the girl that you like.. Ganyan si clark, mabilis mag isip, sa kalokohan or seryosohang bagay.. Perfectionist! Sa recording, puyat na puyat kami, pero hindi kami makauwi sa kahahanap sa sa iisang nota na off key in a 6min song.. Ganyan din sa pag kilatis ng girls, perfectionist.. I remember when he first met up with Lavonne.. Nagkita kami ni Clark after.. Syempre kwentuhan.. Usually, guys would say how sexy or beautiful the girl is.. Si clark, ang sinabi nya saken.. "pare panalo! Hindi amoy pulbos!" you upped his standards in women, dahil hindi ka amoy pulbos.. May karugtong pa yun, sabi nya.. "if things don't work out between us, i dont think id be able to find a better girl than this one." i answered with five words, "then don't mess this up." pagkatapos nun, para kaming mga high school boys na nanliligaw, thinking up of ways on how to surprise lavon.. Ginawa nyang parang cubao yung nueva ecija... Every surprise, Clark gathers our friends para magpa-meeting.. He loves getting everyone involved.. Ganyan sya ka-proud sa love nya kay Lavonne.. Kaya nung nagpameeting sya nung isang araw, kala namen regular surprise nya lang yung paguusapan, magpopropose na pala si toyo! Yung ibang tao siguro are worried na they have just been together for a little over year tapos magpapakasal na.. If you are one of these people, you don't know their story.. Just look at them, they bring out the best of each other. These two have brought each other nearer to God. These two are a perfect match. A wise man once said, "hindi yan nasusukat sa haba ng pinagsamahan, kundi sa lalim ng pinagdaanan.. -bobby andrews, TGIS..

Well, kidding aside..
Marriage is not about finding a person you can live with, it's about finding the person you can't live without. And these two is the perferct example of the latter..

Here's to a life time of happiness for clark and lavonne! May you never stop counting your anniversaries.

My take on Child Labor

tingin mo, should we tolerate child labor???

In 2006, without a job, i spend my afternoons watching noontime shows.. there was this episode of wowowee were they got children to play in one of their games... people who enter the contests are usually below the poverty line, hoping that the program can help put foods in their mouths... in the episode i was talking about, the contestants, instead of going to school are forced to collect pieces of plastic and scraps of metal to sell in junk shops in exchange for a few coins which is not even enough for subsistence... i can't stop myself from crying (kelangan ko na talaga magkatrabaho) as i listen to the contestant's stories... it reminded me of one of the documentary shows where they featured children working in factories instead of going to school.. and since they are just minors, the employer can pay them way below the minimum wage rate... they tell us that it is the right of every child to have an education... instead of creating better opportunities by practicing thier right to an education, the children of poor families put their lives and future on the line to feed their families... depriving one's right is wrong... one would immidiatley think that we must completely eradicate child labor and put these children back to were they belong, in school... but i think otherwise, although it sounds deviant, i strongly belive that we should legalize child labor...

though many would say that child labor is bad and is probably against any society's norms, kasama na dun ang UN na namboboycot ng countries na legal ang child labor, if we could look into the situation more closely, you guys might also agree with me... ganto kasi yun... some employers employ minors because children have small hands and can peform meticulous jobs like sewing buttons or assembling fireworks, etc... another reason why employing children is illegal, employers can pay them way below the minimum wage rate... edi tipid sila! now, why do minors look for jobs? primarily because of poverty... they need money to put foods in their mouths... their parent's income is not enough for subsitence... pwede rin na kelangan nila ng baon sa school... (meron nga libreng paaral ang gobyerno, may libre pasahe ba sila, libreng libro or libreng baon?)... now, if we "protect" their rights and not let them work, anong mangyayari? magugutom sila, hindi sila makakapasok sa school kasi wlang perang pamasahe at pangkain... at pag sinuwerte ang mga batang to at hindi sila namatay sa gutom, marami sakanila ang tatandang mahirap, dahil hindi nga sila nakapag aral, and their children would suffer what they suffered when they were kids... it would just be a viscious cycle... now, if we legalize child labor, kids can work and help their families... and when it is legalize, at least the government can monitor the employment of minors... they can set bounderies so that children can still go to school and are paid fairly... hindi yung may pera nga, wala naman nang oras para pumasok sa eskwelahan... and if ever maging successful ang current laws naten against child labor at nawala na lahat ng bakas ng child labor, anong kakainin ng mga batang ito? hindi naman sapat yung kinikita ng magulang nila para mabuhay sila at tska kahit illegal ang child labor, patuloy parin naman ito eh, at least mawawala sa underground ang childlabor and abuses on children can be minimized if not eradicated...

DIBA??

sa lahat ng nasabi ko, isa lang ang tanong ko.... anong gagawin mo kung umuwi ang magulang mo sainyo na may dalang affidavit na nagsasabing dinagdagan ng "Jejomar " ang first name mo?
